How To Play

Our Story

Ultramons was born out of an unexpected challenge when we relocated to the Seattle, Washington area in 2022. Due to COVID-19 constraints, our household goods shipment was delayed by over six months. During this time, Palash Bhasin, then just 9 years old, found himself bored without any games to play and no new friends yet. With time on his hands and a spark of creativity, Palash picked up some blank sheets of paper, sketched a few monsters, assigned them powers, and crafted rules for battle. And just like that, Ultramons came to life.

What started as a simple way to pass the time soon became a beloved ritual. Every evening, we gathered to play Ultramons, with Palash often introducing new Ultramons or Special Powers, driven by his desire to surprise and outwit the adults. By early 2023, after countless iterations of gameplay, we began sharing the game with friends, and it became clear that Ultramons was something truly special—something that needed to be shared with board game lovers everywhere.
